The much-awaited collaboration between Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No. 47 (AK-47), is facing further delays. Strong buzz in industry circles now suggests the Aadarsha Kutumbam release may be pushed all the way to Summer 2027 due to prolonged production schedules.
Multiple Postponements Since Announcement
The film was initially planned for a summer release this year, but was postponed due to pending shooting schedules. After the summer 2026 release was dropped, the team set their sights on a Dasara release.
However, the shoot is still in progress and taking considerably longer than expected. With production delays mounting, even the Dasara slot now appears uncertain. Industry sources indicate that the film may only be ready for a Summer 2027 theatrical release, disappointing fans who have been eagerly awaiting this prestigious collaboration.
Venkatesh’s Anil Ravipudi Film Complicates Timeline
Adding to the scheduling complexity, Venkatesh is expected to allocate dates for his film with director Anil Ravipudi from next month. That project has been planned for a long time and is targeting a Sankranthi release.
As a result, the Trivikram directorial could be released only after the Anil Ravipudi film, making a Summer 2027 release window a strong possibility for Aadarsha Kutumbam. Venkatesh will need to juggle commitments between both high-profile projects in the coming months.
The Venkatesh-Trivikram combination generated massive buzz when it was announced, but the repeated delays have tested the patience of their combined fan base. An official announcement on the final release date is still awaited.
